Samsung Biologics takes the most proved workflow in developing stable cell lines.

Transfection with vector containing gene of interest into GS KO cell line is typically conducted via electroporation. Transfected cells are fully recovered, the productivity and quality of the pools will be evaluated in fed-batch culture.

After the high efficiency clone pool is selected through sequential processing, an RCB (Research Cell Bank) is constructed through a screening process, and then a stability test is followed to nominate a final clone for MCB (Master Cell Bank) manufacturing.
